Mexico FAQ

Bocas Del Toro, Panama FAQ

PASSPORTS? Yes, it can't expire with in 3 months of your travel date.

HOW DO YOU GET TO MEXICO?

There are a few ways you can fly into Mexico. Your destination should be Huatulco or Puerto Escondido. 

  • Fly into Mexico City

  • Connecting Flight to HUX or Puerto Escondido

    • Watch your layover times - Sometimes flights can be cheap but this is due to a long layover in Mexico City. That is fine as the accommodations are good and it is safe. You want to book a day ahead so you don't miss the start of the retreat though.​

IS IT SAFE TO TRAVEL ALONE? HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I TRAVEL WITH? WHAT IS THE EXCHANGE? 

During COVID times Mexico is one of the best places to travel at the moment. They are just more relaxed within Mexico. You can safely travel with $200-500. There are safe ATM’s everywhere so you can  pull money out once you get here. The exchange rate is the peso.

ANY BUNDLE DISCOUNT?

Yes! If you are someone who has 3 or more friends who want to visit Mexico. You will receive $500 OFF your trip! This applies to a basic package or an all inclusive!

HOW LONG SHOULD I PLAN FOR MY TRIP?

If possible we suggest to plan for a 6-7 days Sometimes there is lay overs in travel. This way you can at least have your full 6 nights with us and some cushion for travel hiccups. If you can only visit for a short amount of time we will discount our packages for you.

HOW DO YOU GET TO BOCAS DEL TORO?

​

There are two ways we suggest to get to Bocas.

First option:

  • Fly into Panama City (via United, spirit, american)

  • Taxi to Albrook catch AirPanama to Bocas Del Toro (We can help purchase this ticket for you) 

Second Option:

  • Fly into San Jose, Costa Rica via Southwest Airlines

  • Suggested Hotel for the night: Holiday Inn Express

  • Shuttle to Bocas

    • Shuttle Carribean Shuttle (We can purchase this for you)

    • This shuttle takes you to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica for Lunch and then guides you across the border to Panama. It takes a day of travel but is an awesome cultural experience. The shuttle leaves from Holiday Inn Express at 6am and arrives in Bocas at 6pm.

IS IT SAFE TO TRAVEL ALONE? HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I TRAVEL WITH? WHAT IS THE EXCHANGE? 

Panama in general is very safe. Majority of the country speaks english or tries to. You can safely travel with $200-500. There are safe ATM’s on our island so if you need money you can pull it out once you get here. There is no exchange. Panama uses the American dollar.

Italy FAQ

How do I get to Fiumicino Italy to Silvi Marina? 

26 & 27th we pick you up. 26th landing one extra night retreat rate. 

Flight 27th needs to arrive before 3:00pm.

If flight arrives after 3pm:

Take a bus directly from airport to Pescara terminal. (Closest city 15min from the hotel) Cost: 30 Euros

IS IT SAFE TO TRAVEL ALONE? HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I TRAVEL WITH? WHAT IS THE EXCHANGE? 

It is best to travel with card and little cash. Everywhere in Italy takes cards. You can travel alone. Cary $100 Euro. You can exchange at the airport.

HOW LONG SHOULD I PLAN FOR MY TRIP? WHAT IF I WANT TO EXTEND MY STAY?

If possible we suggest to plan for a 10 day travel period. Sometimes there is lay overs in travel. This way you can at least have your full 6 nights with us and some cushion for travel hiccups. You can come before or after the retreat to enjoy the hotel. Please contact us and we can help you with your package.
